I would like to say thank you to Ms. Cassandra for all her support and information the provided within these ten weeks. I learned new information about At Risk Children and Families. I gained new information and I also gained new knowledge about At Risk Children and Families. I learned from Ms. Cassandra that young parents are in need of help and support in regards to different programs that can help them better themselves. These young parents are in need of programs such as computer training, GED programs, Agencies with childcare, and job trainings.
I followed up on all of Ms. Cassandra blog journals and through her post I had the opportunity to learn more about children at risk and families. This topic opened my eyes because I never thought about this topic and it is so important; because our young generation are having babies so young that children are at risk. I want to thank Ms. Cassandra for giving me the opportunity and realize that having children at a young age can be critical for our young generation. I can see Ms. Cassandra has been working with this issue becasue she provided different ideas on how to help these young mothers. Ms. Cassandra I would like to thank you for all your support. Good Luck.
I think 'at risk children and families' is a topic that needs continued advocacy. You may hear some chatter occasionally about the issue, but since it is something we as a society deal with the affects of on a daily basis, the spotlight should continuously shine on it, not just when something happens that puts it back into the forefront. Good luck with everything, and I hope you can continue to count on those you have looked to for answers so far in your research.
